Bradford Council will be holding catch up vaccination clincs throughout the summer in the community for Year 8 and 9 school children.

We are restarting routine screening and vaccination clinics . We will invite patients in where appropriate - please attend when invited or reschedule.

Please note that people in the 50-64 year-old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then.
This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are aged 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement, ear syringing, wound dressing, stop smoking clinics and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
